EXECUTIVE CHILD CARE, GYM & LEARNING CENTER
Who are we?
Okie Dokie Childcare & Learning Center is a private childcare and learning center operated by Diego & Friends, LLC, a for-profit company. We serve children from 2 months to 4 years of age, providing a safe, comfortable and reliable environment for the integral development of children. Our commitment is to provide quality service and excellence that promotes the physical, intellectual, ethical and social well-being of each child in an environment that fosters their capabilities and potential.

Our History
Okie Dokie emerged from the vision and initiative of the Álvarez Rodríguez couple, who in 2010 were overwhelmed in the search for a Care and Learning Center in the Hato Rey area for their child, Diego Antonio. In its beginnings it had an enrollment represented by children under two years old. It then grew and developed into an institution that serves children from 2 months to 4 years of age.
Okie Dokie has had a significant impact on the childcare industry and the community at large. Proof of this are the countless activities it promotes and carries out with the parents of the participating children, the preparation of the children who graduate from the Center and the quality of its staff.
Our Institutional Values
At Okie Dokie, our core values reflect our commitment to the education and care of children:
- Excellence: We constantly strive to improve the quality of our service, recognizing that children are our reason for being.
- Commitment: We are dedicated to providing an ideal environment for our staff and expect a genuine commitment to the center’s mission.
- Leadership and Personal Development: We foster leadership and personal development of our team, promoting uplifting human relationships.
- Responsibility and Trust: Our goal is to be a reliable and safe alternative for childcare, where the treatment of children is always empathetic and respectful.

In the Tiny Tiny group, we care for children between the ages of 1 year and 1.6 years in a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment designed to support their integral development. The Tiny Tiny area is equipped with educational toys, soft surfaces and play stations that promote sensory exploration and motor skill development. Our highly trained staff ensures that each child receives individualized attention, promoting an environment in which they can learn and discover the world at their own pace. Through structured activities and free play time, Tiny Tiny’s toddlers develop confidence, curiosity and fundamental social skills.
Tony Tots (1.6 to 2 years)
TOTS (2 to 2.6 years old)
Toddlers (2.6 to 3 years)
The Toddlers room, located on the second level, is designed for children ages 2.6 to 3, providing an educational environment that stimulates their curiosity and fosters the development of essential skills. At this stage, children are in full transition to independence, so our activities are focused on strengthening their autonomy and confidence. With a focus on active and exploratory learning, we offer rotations that integrate fine motor, cognitive development and social skills activities, always through guided and structured play. The Toddlers room is a vibrant and welcoming space where children begin to explore basic learning concepts and continue their journey to school with confidence and joy.
Pre Pre (3 to 4 years old)
The Pre Pre classroom is designed specifically for children ages 3 to 4 and focuses on educational and social preparation for school entry. With a comprehensive focus on developing independence, we encourage children to acquire essential skills that will help them adapt to the school environment. Through structured activities and a dynamic educational approach, our Pre Pre children work on their social development, learning to collaborate with others, make decisions and solve problems autonomously. This specialized classroom offers a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn and strengthen the foundations necessary for success in school and in life.
